CG Artist

We are currently searching for a CG Artist to join our team in Sydney. This broad ranging position will work closely with our artistic lead to design, model, texture, light and animate a wide range of CG elements for a variety of assigned projects. The successful candidate will be strongly creative and will be responsible for the quality of all CG elements to ensure the high production values of Ripple are met.

Candidates should have the following:

Some experience in production pre-visualisation.
Proven experience in the development of 2D and 3D models, rigging, surfacing, lighting, and animation. Experience in Cinema 4D is a distinct advantage.
Experience with multi-pass rendering and the use of render farm technologies.
Knowledge of Adobe and Apple production software.
Proven ability to work for periods without direct guidance and / or remotely (work from home).
Previous experience in FX development for film or animated features.

Camera and Lighting Operator

We are currently looking for a talented camera operator with lighting and audio experience to join our team in Sydney. This role is an integral part of the production team and actively contributes to pre-production. Ripple has a diverse production requirement including film, documentary and television projects that could involve aerial, oceanic, remote and extreme sports, large events and corporate shoots. The successful candidate will be energetic and creative, as well as self motivated with the ability to coordinate and execute location and studio shoots to meet Ripples high production values and tight time frames.

Candidates should have the following experience:

Proven experience in cinematography, lighting and audio techniques for cinema, television and multi-media projects.
Proven aptitude for creative filming
Proven experience with digital high definition cameras or film cameras and digital formats.
Ability and willingness to occasionally work in remote or physically strenuous environments.
Self motivated with the ability to coordinate with other production team members and artists, often without producers direct guidance.
At least 6 months experience in the film and television industry.

Artistic Lead

We are currently looking for a Artistic Lead to work on a variety of projects in Sydney. In this broad skill role the successful candidate will be responsible for creative input on all projects including conceptual art, graphic design, storyboarding, scripting and collaborate with other staff to ensure the final product meets Ripples high production values.

Candidates should have the following:

A high level of creative and artistic skill including the ability to produce conceptual art, storyboards and graphics. Some script writing is an advantage but not essential.
Experience in interpreting client requirements and producing client briefs within tight time constraints.
An in depth knowledge of Adobe and/or Apple production tools.
Experience in coordinating and managing other artists to meet a brief both technically and creatively.
A proven ability to work for periods without direct guidance and / or remotely (work from home).
At least 6 months association with the film and/or television industry.
Effective communication and leadership style.
